One of our jewels is the Upper Moreland Free Library, sitting right next to the Upper Moreland Township Building on Park Avenue. Our library offers much more than just books to borrow. There are fantastic programs presented throughout the year for kids and adults of all ages. From exciting science workshops, to book clubs, Sunday cinemas, informative presentations and more this is a peaceful place to nourish your mind. Head right next door and you will find the artifact room of the Upper Moreland Historical Association. Fostering an appreciation throughout the community for our local history and promoting an interest in the area's past events, people, folklore and unique cultures, the Historical Association has already instilled a sense of pride in the heritage of our community. For the past seven years, the Historical Association has educated residents through lectures, workshops and field trips related to local history.
