Montgomeryville, Lansdale

Prior to the advent of the North Pennsylvania Railroad, Lansdale Borough was originally inhabited by the Lenni Lenape Indians. Today, Lansdale is home to a close-knit community made up of around 16,500 residents living in almost three square miles of land.

One of the nice things about Lansdale is its dedication to remembering and preserving the historical aspects of the borough. Lansdale has it's own historical society and public library, both dedicated to informing and educating the community as to the historical significance of this town. Both the historical society and library also host a variety of programs and events, many of which the entire family can enjoy.

The Lansdale Parks and Recreation Department also does its share to ensure that the community is rarely without a little outdoor fun and excitement. The department offers a wide array of programs and events such as kids' nights, concert/music series, festivals and more.
