Glenside
Glenside is an informal town that crosses township lines but retains its very own unique community spirit.
"Glenside is a wonderful family town," Vincent Pannepacker, the grand marshal of the 100th annual Glenside Independence Day parade, said in July. "That's the best way to describe it."
Pannepacker, who just celebrated his store's 66th continuous year in business, summed up what other Glenside residents know all too well. Their town is a wonderful place to grow up, with its family-owned stores, well-kept homes and Keswick Village filled with shops and places to dine.
